These Terms & Conditions govern the use of JoeKimura.com and the purchase or booking of any products or services, including online classes, private residencies, and physical products.
By using this website or making a booking or purchase, you agree to these terms.
Services and Products
SushiClassOnline provides:
Online sushi classes
Private sushi residencies and in-home experiences
A physical cookbook and related shop items
All services are subject to availability.
Bookings and Payments
Full payment is required to secure online class bookings.
Residencies require a deposit to confirm dates and availability. Booking details, including location and format, are arranged directly after an enquiry has been submitted.
Online Classes – Cancellations and Refunds
Online class bookings may be cancelled for a full refund if notice is given at least 3 days (72 hours) before the scheduled class time.
Cancellations made less than 3 days before the class are non-refundable, as the space has been reserved and preparation has been made.
If a class must be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, reasonable efforts will be made to offer an alternative date.
Private Sushi Residencies – Deposits and Cancellations
Residencies are limited and require advance planning, travel coordination, and reserved dates.
To secure a residency booking, a 40% deposit is required.
If a residency is cancelled more than 2 months before the scheduled date, the deposit may be refunded at discretion or transferred to a future booking.
If a residency is cancelled less than 2 months before the scheduled date, the deposit is non-refundable.
This reflects the time reserved, planning involved, and the likelihood that the date cannot be filled at short notice.
Final payment terms and timelines will be discussed and agreed upon during the booking process.
Shop Purchases – Cookbook
Due to the nature of physical product fulfillment and international shipping, cookbook purchases are non-refundable.
If a book arrives damaged, please make contact within a reasonable time after delivery. The damaged item must be returned before a replacement or refund can be issued.
Return shipping instructions will be provided once the issue has been reviewed.

Every effort is made to ensure that information on the website is accurate and up to date. However, details such as availability, locations, and service formats may change and are not guaranteed until confirmed.

Travel and Location Requirements for Residencies
